Le Coly Menu

We are situated in one of the best regions of France for meat and vegetable produce. All our food is fresh and has been sourced locally, or grown organically on our own land. Meals are prepared and served in the clubhouse, which is a 2 minute walk from the lake. Depending on the weather, food can either be served in our dining room inside the clubhouse or in your swim.

Any anglers with special requirements must notify Le Coly when making their booking.

Breakfast – served in the clubhouse

English breakfast – fruit juice; tea or coffee;  toast with marmite, jams, honey or marmalade; fried, boiled or scrambled eggs; sausages; bacon; baked beans; tomatoes


Continental breakfast – fruit juice; tea or coffee; cereal; freshly baked croissants and pain au chocolat; toast with marmite, jams, honey or marmalade. 

A bivvy breakfast delivery service is available and can be arranged with our staff the previous evening for delivery at your swim for the the following morning.

Fruit juice; bacon, sausage and fried egg in a freshly baked baguette


Fruit juice; freshly baked croissants and pain au chocolat

Dinner is served in the clubhouse or in your swim please advise your menu selection for your party’s week (by e-mail only) no later than 7 days prior to your arrival

A complimentary drink of beer or a soft drink will be provided with every evening meal

  1. Le Coly burgers with French fries and mixed salad
  2. Chicken or beef casserole with dumplings accompanied with freshly baked bread
  3. Shepherd’s or cottage pie with baked beans
  4. Beef or chicken chili con carne (as hot as you like) with rice, salad and tortillas
  5. Lasagne with a mixed salad and garlic bread
  6. Spaghetti bolognese with garlic bread
  7. Home made chicken or beef and mushroom pie with boiled minted potatoes, peas and carrots
  8. Stuffed chicken breasts wrapped in bacon with French fries and green beans
  9. Pork chops and apple sauce with creamed mashed potatoes, sweetcorn and broccoli

Sunday roast – chicken and stuffing with bread sauce or pork with apple sauce or beef and Yorkshire pudding with horseradish sauce – roasted potatoes, roasted parsnips, cauliflower and peas.

There will be salad options available during hot weather.
